Fun and Easy Games to Teach Kids Vegetable Names
- Vegetable Charades: It is a fun game through which you can also teach them. Act out the characteristics, or names of different vegetables, just like movies. Ask the kids to guess the vegetable in 30 seconds -1 minute.
- Vegetable Antakshari: Just like you play antakshari with songs, play it with vegetable names. For instance, if one kid says Asparagus, then ask the next kid to say a vegetable name with the letter S like Spinach.
- Vegetable Treasure Hunt: Hide certain vegetables in and around the house. Give kids chits with hints about their characteristics, shape, size, etc., and ask them to find them in as little time as they can.
- Vegetable Names Guessing: Take a box and make holes on both sides. Place the vegetable inside the box, and ask the kids to feel the vegetable, and guess the vegetable name, without seeing.
- Vegetable Matching Game: Create two sets of cards, one with a vegetable name and the other with its image. Place them and ask the kids to find matching pairs.
